The global impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on everyday life reminds me of the book Who Moved My Cheese, written by Spencer Johnson. It is a profound little book and a light-hearted parable about how we respond to change.
This pandemic is affecting us at all levels: physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually, socially. It has the power to bring the best out in us as well as the worst because it forces us out of our comfort zones.
Even though it may not seem like it at all at the moment, being forced out of your comfort zone is the greatest blessing of all.
A Blessing in Disguise
This is not something affecting just you or me. Everybody is affected. We are all in this together. This calls for appreciating our connectedness, and even if we are not physically connecting, we can stay connected via technology.
