Sherry Khachatryan is Holistic Health Coach, Registered Nurse and founder of LUV-HEALTH coaching. Specializing in health and wellness, her target is busy professionals, those who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle but are overwhelmed by bulk information and videos, all trying to offer some guidance. Sherry has been a nurse for close to three decades. It is her experience in this field that inspired her to start a health and wellness center. The close to none cases on success stories of conventional medicine, the load of medical bills on patients; she saw it all.
She saw the despair and pain on their faces, as their conditions deteriorated. It is then that she made a determination; to become a health coach; to provide people with knowledge on how to incorporate healthy lifestyles, to enjoy the freedom of not being on medication for the rest of their lives. She has a story of her own; has tried fad diets, counting calories to lose weight and stay in shape and this is her verdict: all you need is plain old whole foods to nourish your body and everything else will fall in place. With health coaching, you have the key to a holistic approach, an overall wellness that incorporates the body and mind.
Sherry is a certified Holistic Practitioner by the Board of American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from New Jersey City University. She is currently advancing her training as a Functional Practitioner in Functional Medicine University. Sherry received her health coach training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. In the course of her training, she was privileged to study over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
Some of her teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Centre for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale’s University Prevention Research Centre; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities. A lady who also wears the hat of a TLS weight loss coach, Sherry is a fanatic of yoga, nature, cars and creating a balance in life. Sherry was recently featured in Healthy View Radio.
