As a therapist, I strive to help people make new discoveries about themselves and what helps them overcome the obstacles they face. My clients trust me to guide them on their journey to achieve the goals they set for themselves. As someone who understands the transformative power of therapy, I’m passionate about learning, listening, and bringing balance and wellness to the lives of my clients. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, and if you or someone you love is going through a difficult time dealing with anxiety/depression, personality, dissociative, or eating disorders.
I have over 9 years of experience working as a therapist in numerous settings with many populations, however primarily with teens and adults. I have worked in both group practices as well as Outpatient Mental Health Center’s specializing in teens and adults with anxiety/depression and trauma.
My training is in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT-C). I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Dialetical Behavioral Therapy National Certification and Accreditation Association, International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals Foundation, and I am a support group leader through the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). I am also the author of the new children’s book, ‘Remy Goes to Therapy’– a book about a tween boy seeking help from a therapist for his anxiety.
My treatment approach is simply to help individuals find their true selves, separate from who the world wants them to be, or who they think they ‘should’ be. I help individuals to view their thoughts and emotions as an observer rather than a participant, leading to a life of inner-peace.
