Popular wisdom says the best time to meditate is first thing in the morning. Personally, I struggle to do this. My mind is at its most active at this time, and I’m thinking about all the things I need to do that day. I’d rather start out with a short walk, and during this time, I sort through the day’s ‘to do list’ in my head. I can prioritise what I plan to do in a stress-free way that makes me feel in control and relaxed.
