On a personal note, conscious intuition is a problematic recreation for me. There is little to no concrete scientific evidence of intuition. Many of you have experienced it, but no one, to my knowledge, has scientifically documented it. Anecdotally, the preponderance of the evidence would seem to justify its existence. Some scientific statistical models allow for such conjecture. I am not a statistician, nor do I want to be one. Please know this, the presence of intuition has not been ruled out scientifically, so I humbly propose the following:
For a few, their intuitive abilities are a finely tuned machine. For most, intuition is a vestigial organ much like their little toe or their appendix. It is a tool that is rarely utilized, and usually misunderstood. I have observed many alternative practitioners use intuition effectively. They use their intuitive faculties to bring about fantastic health transformations, many of which cannot be explained by traditional medicine. I witnessed such a transformation in my role as director of a NYC wellness clinic. A young girl came into our office with her mother, after being allopathically diagnosed with type-I diabetes. Type-I diabetes is traditionally a lifelong diagnosis, requiring constant medical care. Adults with type I diabetes are prone to a multitude of medical issues including blindness, kidney failure, heart disease, poor circulation, amputations, skin ulcers, joint collapse, and severe nerve pain, to name a few.
